Terms of sale
1. The seller
These terms apply to purchases in the Studio Victus online shop at https://studio-victus.com.hr. The seller is Iron Hill j.d.o.o., Železna Gora 198A, 40313 Železna Gora, OIB 62676175346, registration number (MBS) 070209559, registry court: Trgovački sud u Varaždinu. Contact: info@studio-victus.example, +385 1 000 0000.
The seller is not registered for VAT. VAT is not charged pursuant to Article 90(2) of the Croatian VAT Act.
2. How the contract is made
An order placed on the website is a request, not an obligation to pay. There are three steps:
With the order you send us the products, the personalisation and the delivery details. We confirm receipt by e-mail.
We send you a quote by e-mail as a PDF: the items, the price with delivery, the quote’s validity and the payment details. The quote is also the confirmation on a durable medium.
The contract is made when the payment arrives within the quote’s validity. Then we start making your order.
If the quote expires without payment, no contract is made and you owe nothing. You can ask for a new quote on the order page. Until you pay, you can cancel the order at no cost.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros (EUR). The seller is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. Delivery is shown separately, in the cart and in the quote. The price in the quote is valid until the quote expires, whatever later price changes on the website.
4. Payment
Payment is by bank transfer only, to HR2823400091111289731 (Privredna banka Zagreb d.d.), with the model and reference from the quote. Card payments on the website are not possible. The quote also contains a barcode for mobile banking.
5. Personalisation
The customer is responsible for the details entered (names, dates, dedications, locations). We make the product exactly as entered, so please check spelling, dates and the chosen place before ordering. If you notice a mistake in the quote, tell us before paying.
Pictures on the website are examples: the colour and grain of the wood, the layout of the text and shades may differ from the finished product. The star map poster is an artistic view of the sky, not an astronomically exact chart.
6. Production time and delivery
The production time is shown with the product and in the quote, in working days from the day of payment. We deliver only within Croatia: by GLS to an address, to a BOX NOW parcel locker, or by pick-up where offered. Delivery prices and times are on the Shipping page.
If a parcel is not collected, the courier returns it to us. We will contact you to send it again, at the customer’s cost.
7. Right of withdrawal
A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This right does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (Croatian Consumer Protection Act), which is most of our products. If you did not personalise a product (for example a card without a dedication), the right of withdrawal applies.
You can withdraw with the form on the Right of withdrawal page or by a statement sent to info@studio-victus.example. We confirm receipt by e-mail. Return the goods to Železna Gora 198A, 40313 Železna Gora within 14 days of your statement; you bear the direct cost of returning them. We refund the amount paid within 14 days of receiving your statement, by the same payment method, but may withhold it until we receive the goods.
8. Defects and damage
We are liable for material defects under the Croatian Civil Obligations Act. Please inspect the parcel on delivery. If the packaging is damaged, photograph it and contact us as soon as possible with photos of the product. Depending on the defect, we will replace or repair the product, reduce the price or refund you, as the law provides.
9. Written complaints
You can send a complaint by e-mail to info@studio-victus.example or by post to Železna Gora 198A, 40313 Železna Gora. We confirm receipt without delay and reply in writing within 15 days of receiving it.
10. Disputes and governing law
We try to settle disputes by agreement. A consumer may start out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute before the competent alternative dispute resolution body. [The seller adds the body’s name and contact after legal advice.] The contract is governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia.
11. Account and discount codes
You can buy as a guest or with an account. A discount code applies under the conditions stated with it: one code per order, not valid for products on sale, and it does not reduce delivery.
12. Intellectual property
Photographs, designs, illustrations and texts on the website belong to the seller and may not be used without written permission.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Each order is governed by the terms the customer accepted when ordering; that version is saved with the order.
